My dry/summer bikes are SORN at the end of September and put away untill April.
My wet/winter bike is used all year round. This way i'm able to ride most, if not all of the year.
This year i have treated my Varadero to a pair of BarkBusters BZZ muffs

Don't need it for work any more so it goes in a CarCoon bike bubble for the winter. Bought a new ZZR1400 a few years back, a couple of weeks before winter set in, and covered it up in my concrete lock-up. After the winter the chain was red rusty even though it was covered in the thick white grease
from the factory. So the bubble arrived for my new RS, an now the RT. Once you have put the bike on the base and zipped over the clear plastic top a 12volt fan blows it up until the pressure equalises and then maintains the pressure. Protects the bike from minus temperatures and keeps it condensation free. Don't mind if I get caught out in the rain but not going out with salt plastered everywhere.
