Bored?

Post by Doctor T »

Is the weather getting you down? Dreams of going to your favourite cafe? The smell of riding past cow fields and taking a big breath of the sweet unpolluted air We i have an answer. Go to your favourite selling site and misspell words in the search. It amazing what comes up.
I misspelt motorcycle and the search engine came with things like Ladies underwear to a false leg. There seems to be a lot of used false teeth available at a much cheaper price than the NHS charges. If the don't fit, no worries. You have just found a new project for your Demmel. Good luck and tell me what you have found

I'm hoping to get out on the Varadero this week as i missed last week.
I don't think i'm the only one, but getting the next 2 weeks out the way will be heaven.
But i got a couple of jobs to do over the xmas weeks.
Got to replace the injector seals on one of my cars, and lower one of the wife SV650.
Once there done i can start putting the parts i've bought onto Artie.
The only problem i have when i'm bored is i spend money on eBay & AliExpress to.

Yep bored, slipped on black ice last week whilst walking the dog. Once I got up the arm didn't move, a visit to A&E and I have a posterior dislocation of my left shoulder (rare apparently), the doctor says approximately 6 weeks in a sling.

Plenty. :|

OTOH we often get to start riding in late March or early April. Working on some of my cars should keep me busy rest of the winter, though.

Riding all through the winter I am. Easy you say, you're in Southern California. But, I also rode through winters when living in Geneva, Switzerland, from 2010 to 2017. Only had to leave the bike in the garage a handful of times during those years, due to too much snow ...

The only thing that stops me from riding is the wife and strong winds. Not the wind you get after eating sprouts

Finished for Christmas yesterday so as today was today was mild and essentially dry, went out for a bimble over to North Wales. Yeah, I wouldn't call the weather inspiring or the views fantastic today, even the cafe I stooped at was best described as mediocre, but I was out on the bike for no other reason than it felt like, indeed was, a good thing to do.

Agree it dosent have to be a stunning sunning day or fantastic veiws. Just getting out in the open air and freedom are the main reasons i ride.

To the other member who said become a blood biker. I did apply but there is a waiting list in Sussex

It's started. Both the wife and i wanted a christmas on our own this year.
But we are both bored already.
So we just poped out and bought some board games and playing cards to keep us going.

Driving home for Christmas was written in a traffic jam on the M25. Whilst he was driving home to his home in the north.

What a great performer, been to several of his gigs in the 80’s. 👍
