Just a Thought

My new motorcycle a BMW R1250RT produces 110g/km which if it was a car would mean a bill of £21 a year for VED so why am I being charged £111.00.

Massive rabbit hole is this!

Bike produce more hydrocarbons than cars and as a result if they went on emissions we would end up paying a lot more

Not sure that’s correct.

My motorcycle is Euro 5 compliant, all bikes sold since 2021 are (or should be). Hydrocarbon emission requirements are the same for any Euro 5 engine be it in a car or a motorcycle.
