GS-911 Fault Code Reset For Free

I know not everyone will have a GS-911, so would like to help other members if i can.

I see people are charging a fee to reset any fault codes on your BMW MotorRad (£25+).
So i would like to offer my help for free to read and reset any fault codes.
If you live near South Wales, and come to me, i will reset your fault codes for you.
And if the fault code comes back after the reset you know you need to get the problem sorted.
I have found that a low battery or disconneting a part can give some fault codes as well.
I wont do the service reset as it uses one of the 10 VIN's you get with the GS-911

This is a Free offer to members on here in the South Wales or near area who come to me.

I can only do the newer bikes with the OBD2 port and not the old round type. Sorry.....

No you can reset the fault codes without the VIN.
Its when you need to do a spectfic item for that bike like a service reset you need the VIN.
You need to have internet access and log in. if you dont have internet access you cant access the service reset.

You're right! For some reason I had it in my head you had to register the vin for everything!

Everything cost so much these days, So why not offer a little help for free.

You know what would be good,
if we could get members from all areas who have a GS-911 who could help other members out.

A fee years ago you could plot members on a map which was built in to the forum software which would have helped with this!

Not so easy these days now google wants to charge fot he API to do it

Also i can do the fault codes from my phone over wifi.
But to do anything else i have to use my laptop via USB so my wifi is clear to login.
