Hello from Dublin (IE)

Post by Arends »

Hello from Dublin

I've just paid for 2015 RT loaded with so much stuff that I'll need a day or two to read the manual.
I'll be collecting the bike this Friday, so pictures of my new Blue Motor-Whale will follow in coming days.

The things left for me are: phone mount, pannier liners and learning to ride!

I'll read as much as I dare, but I know I have too much to learn, so feel free to suggest anything you wish.

PS: If you are based in Ireland (preferably in Leinster), I won't turn down your offer to teach me how to ride, as it is the most powerful, the most heavy and the largest bike I ever owned or rode.
I am here to learn.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
There is this phone mount that I used in my last motorcycle "https://www.vikingbags.com/products/adj ... hone-mount", I don't know if they ship to Ireland, you can ask them.

Phone mount with cordless charging arrived from far east within 2 weeks, so I am all fine there.
I have under 300km on the bike and I love it. Well, apart from shifting gears, I must be missing something or I should rename my Blue Motor-Whale to a tractor
My Large cover didn't fit, so I've upgraded to XL (thank you, Oxford) and I am sorted.
I am here to learn.
