David, Do whatever route you want to mate. Also why not sort a members meet up in your area as there are more members up north and then you can sort it all out.

I just wanted to meet some of you guys on here, get to put a face to the name and just have a chillout day having a chat and some food and drink and a simple ride together.

This is a first for me, as its normaly a easy and straightforward thing to sort out. It's now into its 5th page and i'm still not 100% sure who is coming.

Lets Get Back On Track Please

Post by EasyRider »

Ok, i would like to get this thread back on track as it is now only less than 4 weeks until May 6th bank holiday monday.
I will be at Aber Bus Station for 9.30am. I will wait for an hour until 10.30am for others who would like to meet up to get there. I'm going to stick to the route i have planed which is 100 miles long. I don't want to make it any longer as i know others who may turn up will have more miles to do to ride home. The plan was to have a drink at abber then once we got to Llandovery we could have something to eat at the west end cafe or the owls nest just up the road if its busy. Then one more stop in Builth Wells for the loo if anyone needed it and then back to Aber for a drink before going our own ways or home. I'm not out to go at warp speed on this ride, Just a ride with new friends and just enjoy the day.
So all are welcome to join me for this meeting and ride no matter where you are coming from.
So i hope some of you will come as i am looking forward to meeting you.
The idea of the day is to just enjoy it. :thumb:

The route is a nice ride, 98% single roads (with a bit of duel by Brecon), its a mix of fast A roads, and twistys. Its not a route you want to ride fast on. Its is a enjoyable and relaxing route to ride on a tourer.
If you find yourself needing to go faster, then thats ok, we can all meet up at one of the stops or the police station to bail you out  Remember this is wales with the postman pat speed limits ;)

I'm so sorry for the mix up. Its just habbit around here to call Abergavenny "Aber" when talking anything about motorcycles.
