panniers look smaller, fairing looks way less effective ..... and the 1300 engine is proving unreliable ... I'll keep my K52 for now :D

R 1300 R, (not R1300RT) premieres in 24 hrs on BMW utube site, hope it hasnt been hit with their ugly stick . Motorcycle.com have said last month, all three models (r1300rt, r1300rs and r1300r) confirmed coming out 2026. BMW new stock is now only showing 9 models UK, from 21 for the last few months. Down to demos and new reg mainly I presume. but doesnt look like much longer to wait.

Just had an email from the sales team at Warwick bmw saying that they anticipate the 1300RT being rolled out in July (this year) . Have to wait and see.

I still am but the local Honda dealer weren't remotely interested in part- exing my 50k RT. So I'm sitting on the fence regarding my next bike purchase.

wouldn't trust the 1300. From the reports, it's not one of their most reliable engines

It still has the mirrors in the wrong place! (for me, anyway).

Did not see anything in the short clip that would prise open the Old Foxy wallet....

Sticking with my 2020 RT, which has a "proper" dash, at least. Yes, I'm a dinosaur....

I assume that’s the real deal and not an AI mock-up?

If it is I’ll settle for a 1250 thanks.
