The fortuitous acquisition happened back in February, however, the minor inconvenience of a badly smashed ankle curtailed my actually getting on her. But, after what felt like an eternity I was finally able to safely make the 900+km journey to Perth to collect her, rode her around for a few days to make sure the ankle was up to the task, then rode her home over two days. It turned out that I probably could have done the whole trip in one day (& in future I likely will), as she's a whole lot more comfortable to ride than my previous bikes, so while there was some minor 'saddle soreness' it was realy quite minor & thankfully my ankle didn't cause me any great discomfort.
So now she's home & not surprisingly I'm coming up with an endless list of 'things to do' to customise her to my tastes & needs. Which is how I've come to be here. I'm hoping to tap into the forum's collective brain to gain useful knowledge & advice in how best to achieve some of my goals.
Thanks in advance.
