2014 R1200RT Rear Turn/Brake light bar bad

I have a 2014 R1200RT with rear light bar (position under trunk, does not remove with the top trunk). The left turn signal has gone out. Is there any fixing this without a total replacement? Replacement is $600 for the light bar (I think this is PN6321 8541629). I've checked the connector for the light bar and the pins are in tact on the light bar. The harness connector has power that pulses with the turn signal for the left light which is out on the light bar (tested with a 12v test light). The light bar does not appear to be anything that disassembles with "normal" tools to allow for a replacement of lights inside. Any ideas?
