Bought an early birthday present for Mrs S.

One owner, 41k miles. Top spec autobiography. 3 TVs, massaging seats. Who wants to bet whether it breaks down, or gets nicked first!!

Sat at the tunnel, 3 to 5 hour delay. Cars everywhere as the carpark is full.

As the the sun was out, went for a bimble around Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. Only one road closure on my planned route (police had shut the A418 at Bierton) so had a small detour.

Enjoyed a very pleasant lunch in Newton's Coffee Shop (which I can recommend) in Newton Longville.

Lovely blue skies and not too much traffic, until I got back into Oxfordshire and the dreaded A34.

A lovely 178 miles and a "smile per mile"! I love this weather - more please!
