Image upload - problems

Ok, found an error in the system today - that could give some strange behavior - after posting a message.
I have got a some emails about a strange - "Database timeout" after you press "Post" for a new message - and specially if it contains images.
I have not been able to see this for my selves, and therefor not been able to locate a possible error on the system - before today.
Then found that a "security plugin" was not really working well - and I have therefor disables the functionality.
Hopefully things are working better now.
