It's a shame the ferry doesn't run from Newcastle to Norway anymore.

What's Norway like for motorcyclists?

What a coincidence, just been looking at motorcycle tour operators and White Rose Tours are, for the first time, offering a trip to Norway.

Haven't used the guys myself yet, but they are local to me and I have heard some good reports.

That tour looks very good. I have been to Norway once on a cruise ship and what I saw looked amazing.

The toure from White Rose Tours is not bad at all.

Price-vise  - not bad - thinking on the price level in Norway.

Tour - without possibility to look at the selected roads in details - seems to be a nice tour  :)

I have for for about 10 years made MC tours for foreigners in Norway - and seems that they have selected nice riding arias.

Norway is on my Bucket list.  I want to get the family over there for a Christmas holiday.  I believe there is some area that goes to town for Christmas and has a village or area that you can stay at and its "real White Christmas stuff...
Its a long way but if I sell a few of the kids I think I can afford it!!  :))

In my experience ice and snow is only nice in pictures. 30C sounds much more inviting. I was out yesterday after a 2 month break. 4.5C showed on the clocks for 60 miles. Protection on the LC is amazing though and it only took about 30 minutes to wash the salt dust off.

On route to Norway, we will be travelling through Denmark & Sweden.

I have read that both Denmark & Sweden will accept Euros, but not Norway, only Krone.

Please can anyone confirm if this is the case, thanks.

A short reply from Aachen in Germany  ^-^
You will not be able to use euro in Sweden or Norway and only on the boarder to Germany in Denmark.

BTW: the RT is doing a superb job - fully loaded, and probably the best bike I have had suting my kind of riding.
Still not really familiar with the boxer, but I feel I will grow into it  ;)
