What do you do for social get-togethers & ride outs.

Do you do your own thing, make arrangements with others privately or use any local bike groups/forums etc.

Living near Stockton-on-Tees (Teesside), I generally use a combination of a local web forum (not model specific) & private arrangements.

Do you go to the Pitstop bikers cafe on a Tuesday evening Dayglo? Myself & a few mates go every week in the summer, & the Myton in Winter (I used to live off the Rings)

Don't usually go to The Pit Stop on a Tuesday, it's not worth getting the bike out & all kitted up for a 3.3 mile ride.

We live on the Lowfields part of IB.

I took the car for that very reason:-) to be honest if my riding buddies didn't go, I wouldn't go, as its a bit too 'bikerish' for me. I'm not really interested in jap custom bikes or in stories about clutch plates that were fitted over the weekend...

Perhaps now there are several NE Forum Members, a local meeting place could be suggested for us to talk all things RT, or better still, ride our bikes.

That could be good Dayglo, perhaps a run through Helmsley, on to Whitby (whistle stop cafe) via Pickering & the Devils pit. Lovely run on a nice day. Incidentally I've just remembered, my next door neighbour has a 13 plate RT plate too. I'll have to mention the forum to him.

Hopefully meets & ride outs will be posted on the Forum for folks who wish to join with others.

For those of us who are lucky enough to be ReTired, work shifts or rotas, mid-week rides are good, not too busy, (not excluding weekends).

I intend to tax my bike on 1st April.

The weather is looking pretty good this weekend so a few of my riding buddies and I are going to have a run out to the Manor Cafe' at Bellerby if anyone's over that way on Sunday morning. If you haven't been to this cafe it's quite a new, almost dedicated bikers cafe, lots of parking, decent food & coffee and it's right on the  Hawes route, which is a treat in itself:-)

What time are you likely to be at the Manor Café.

We're leaving Stockton at 10.30 & driving there via A66 to Richmond so we'll probably be there comfortably by 12.00.
