There has been some discussion on the K1600 forum about this product . Most of us have probably used it in the past as it does work.
However if you have tyre pressure monitors it must not be used as the system will be destroyed.. .  Use a TipTop puncture repaid kit, also available with a BMW part number from your dealer.

I always struggle with this type - the rubber bands always seem to snap.  I prefer Stop 'n' Go or simple sticky strings...

I have used AirPro "Rope Plugs", (sticky strings).

I use Stop and Go repair kit with a Slime air compressor. The air compressor is a better option than those compressed air cylinders. I believe those cylinders are unable to fully inflate the tyre.

Agreed, I have a Slime Compressor, have seen CO2 Cartridges used & each one may put 5 or 6 psi in the tyre if you are lucky.

This stuff will also bugger up pressure sensors.
I once used one of these on a Land Rover parked in a garage. It came off the valve and covered the whole garage in a sticky film. lucky it wasn't my garage.  .

For those of you considering the Stop and Go kit, Don't forget to buy an accessory socket adaptor if you have an LC as the battery attachment wont work.     

The Slime compressor draws 15 amps so you cannot use the aux sockets which are limited to 10 amps. I wired a cable direct to battery just for this purpose. Have the same setup on my Multistrada. Joke is I have had two blowouts in 18 months both on the Multistrada where the kit I carry was completely useless ! On both occasions I managed to hit large sharp metal objects which punctured the rear making a split about inch long. 10 seconds of excitement followed by 3 hours of boredom waiting for recovery.

Having a fused battery charging lead bolted to the battery & using an adaptor from this to a lighter socket allows the standard size plug to be used,
for a compressor & other items e.g. mobile phone. (For use with the white TM compatible connector, not SAE).
