Trip Counter

Seems to me that on my last RT and GTL the trip counter only went to 1000 miles then reset. I generally reset trip 1 at the end of each day on the road and wait till I get home from the trip to reset Trip counter 2. does anyone know if the trip counter will reset or continue past 1000?


Ill not reset the GPS till we get home but Id like to see the difference.

We are looking for snow and ice here for the next couple of days. Ill probably be posting more than usual. There is only so much thatcan be done to a nearly new bike to get it ready for the spring and Ive done about all I can. If I had the Iluim works bar risers Id give that a shot but Ive held off for some foolish reason that I cant explain.
