This application for tax in 2015 was made online, got an email confirmation, it took more than 24 hours to appear on the system.DaygloDavid wrote:RT Taxed today (1st April), still showing as SORN'd, GOV.UK say,
"Please be aware that if you have taxed, made a SORN or had an MOT in the last 5 days these details may not have updated."
At least until is appears on the GOV.UK system.DaygloDavid wrote:Best keep my Post Office receipt handy.

The ANPR database .................... can be well out of date!! Remember it's only as good as the info sent to the feds by the DVLA! We use the online checker but don't lift vehicles unless they are 2 months out of tax to avoid database errors.DaygloDavid wrote: As last year (see above), taxed the RT yesterday 1st April 2016, but still showing as SORN'ed on the GOV.UK site.
Best keep my Post Office receipt handy, I wonder what happens with any ANPR systems for checking vehicle tax.
