Spot lights

Has anyone fitted any spot lights to their RT LC? If so can you upload photos? I was wondering what they'd look like. I've seen a few K16's with the lights fitted & to be honest I think they look a bit tacky the way they are fitted. Also are these riding 'day' lights or fog lights?

I had BMW ones fitted when the bike was in for the shock refit. Used the BMW payoff!
They are riding lights so throw a broad beam out.. I have them on all the time, makes me a bit more conspicuous.

I also have the BMW ones - and so far the switch has only had to be replaced once!

Thanks the photos! How & what are they attached to? Are they bolted onto the engine via a bracket or onto the lower fairing? They look good and certainly improve the visibility of the bike. What's this about switches... Don't tell me the switches are of the Chinese cheap & nasty type :(

The lights are attached by brackets to the engine casing. No problem with theswitch for thesetho I've had the l/h cluster replaced due to a faulty cruise control,

Bet that left spot is aimed at the stars.  Put the bike on the centre stand, switch them on and get about 30 ft in front if it. You can then get a friend to adjust them so they are both at the same angle/brightness for oncoming blind drivers .

It's how the camera was held when I took the picture,  its actually spot! on.

Do these have a beam or do they diffuse the light so they can legally be used as day lamps?

They have a broad beam, very bright... I have them on all the time... :)

My '11 rt has them. I've had the bike since November and still haven't ridden in the dark. Haven't  had to yet. Strange eh? Anyways here's shot with them on.

How do you find the Wundelicht screen? I notice it does not have the lower centre as the OEM does, does it make a major difference? I have thought about one but all of my riding is done in South West France and not really sure I am up against the same weather conditions. I feel the screen gives really good protection with just enough airflow to stop me from cooking. Your view would be really good and anybody else with a similar screen, cheers  ;)

To be honest Spencer, I don't think your going to improve much on the standard RT screen. There's bound to be a pay-off somewhere be it with buffeting or high speed wobbles. I really can't see screen manufactures investing anywhere near the time & money on wind tunnel testing as motorrad.
