A decent dealership would do that for nothing, a simple case of plugging in the computer and reseting it. However, if you are doing all the work and not crossing their palm with gold like buying service parts from them they may well charge you a token fee, but £250 :ownzed:

It all depends what's made it come on in the first place.  If its because of time or mileage you need a friendly dealer.  If for any reason you have disconnected the battery, this knocks out the clock and the light will come on.  Then its just a matter of resetting the right year month date and time and the light will go out.

That's good to know RTman as I am thinking of fitting the Nautilus Horn which will probably mean disconnecting the battery?

Spencert231,  how did the nautilus go?
My 2010 hasn't fired since I fitted mine...GS-911 shows 2 fuel system errors - 10167 and 10168. Have replaced the fuel pump controller and still nothing..next step is ripping out the fuel pump to check.

Daniel not purchased yet, but that's worrying so I think I will hold back and research a bit more. I am not the quickest when making decisions about my bike. Besides I have so many other jobs and cost SWMBO is boss.
