2014- Switch of headlight  after engine started::

Pres turn signal cancel button for 5 seconds, then without lifting it - flick the button right into the right turn signal mode - and keep it there for about 5 seconds

Main / Headlamp switches off

Probably not applicable if you have Headlamp Pro. But why would you want to?

No you need to stop the Engine or press the full light switch for a second.

If you have it set on Auto the headlight doesn't come on, just the Angle eyes.  Does it switch them off

No only the extra two led lights, not the angle eyes.

"Sorry Mate, I Didn,t See You", "Isn't your bike suposed to have it's headlight on ". "What, you have disabled that function" !!. Dosen't take much imagination to see what comes next if it gets to court.

So nobody would see you when riding without a helmet on maybe. You need to be slightly deranged these days to have no lights on. With lots of cars having quite bright LED DRLs its just too easy to go invisible amongst them.  I like my angle eyes nearly as much as my chrome.  .

In a service mode - sometimes you want the ignition on, but not to drain the battery - switch all light off !
Not for riding, but in service situations.

Also - sometimes - like on a track - you are not allowed to have any front light on - when riding ;-)

and so on  ^-^

A similar method to the older models (upto 2010) - I have on occasions turned off my dipped beams depending on what is behind me or in low sun, so that I increase my contrast to my surroundings, increasing the chances of road users seeing me, instead of blending in :-)

Just a thought ......
