Recently bought an ex Constabulary RT so a real newbie on this site. The auxiliary battery in the "glove box" was not holding charge so have removed it - no mean feat. (Original 2007 battery so well past its use by!) Interesting additional wiring as the auxiliary was to power radio and the flashing bits as they don't like leaving boxers running. Anyone else had experience of this to discuss?
Also looking for a set of r1200rt decals for the tank as all the hiviz removed. Ideally reflective. Found a couple of european sites offering decals off ebay but anyone know any sites?
Ex Police r1200rt - Any one else got/had one.

The RT-P is able to run longer while stationary compared to the standard bike as the RT-P has an electric fan on the oil radiator Robparky wrote: Interesting additional wiring as the auxiliary was to power radio and the flashing bits as they don't like leaving boxers running. Thanks didn't know I had one but found it last night. Not as good extras as USA rt-p with real boys toys- night stick holder and speed gun holster. Interesting discussion on another site with our USA colleagues about where you store your pistol on your bike! I'll stick to somewhere to put your sarnies. Thanks for info.
