Empty speaker compartments on RTs have been around since 1995 and nobody yet has come up with some use for them so don't hold you breath.

I am new to both BMW and this forum.Your sarcasm is offensive. I did not buy from a BMW dealership or the original owner so ignorant to extras on this model. Thanks to other forum members for the advice

If you are offended by sarcasm, you may be too tender to participate in manly activities.

It aint a quote and it aint that brilliant IMO of course.

Perhaps crawfordjohn came to this forum looking for straightforward answers rather than smartarse comments passed off as humour or sarcasm or whatever. People have differing levels of sensibility which should be respected. The matter should have been dropped once Spencert made his apology rather than trying to make cj feel more uncomfortable. He probably won't try again and I for one could see his point.

I am still struggling with how CJ was offended, but I apologised blindly as a here is no chance of rendezvousing with him. I suppose we should all take a step back and review what we are saying or trying to say? It is well documented that the English language is one of the hardest to learn and understand as each word can and does get misinterpreted as to what was intended. How many times have we spoken to friends and after the second time with no word change they reply 'oh! is that what you meant'. I have come to the conclusion that if you can't see the whites of their eyes or the baseball bat he's carrying you don't really know what their true intention is.

I do hope the above does not discourage members from writing on here. WARNING I can be offended, but not easily

Well - yes I agree. I have my-selves fallen into this category many times - as a non native English - Norwegian.
Same reason I left two other forums and started this one - as I did not like the "humor" found there.

So - let this cam down - and stop it here - now - and let us move forward.
Also I will apology to Crawfordjohn - But I do know - that there are no bad intention from anyone on this forum, but we do not all share the same sens of humor
So - be careful out there - and let's not spoil the day for anyone - and in a few weeks the spring is back (Riding - time  O0 )
