I'd you can, it might have contacts rated high enough for the choice of horn. Certainly though, any horn is probably invisible to the canbus (it'll only see the coil resistance).
Just a thought

The Denali requires a 30A lines, so I don't think running it, or anything similar, from the stock power wire is possible.  I think they ran my leads directly over to the battery.

I installed the sound bomb mini. It is definitively an improvement over the stock. The installation was easy as per Kiki's recommendations. Now hopefully I'll be able to alert the crazy, distracted  car drivers in my  area.

I can 100% recommend the Horn and mounting kit from Hornig - the mounting is easy with a custom made bracket and wiring kit.

I was advised by Hornig that without the relay you might run into issues with prolong use of the horn (ie: several seconds) due to the load on the bikes wiring.

The wiring kit is very simple to install, made custom for the RT and includes the BMW adaptor socket so no cutting is required, it has a relay and connects directly to the battery - you only need to reomve the right side fairing panel (2 screws) and the battery cover (pull off) to install it

The custom bracket mounts very securely to the fork brace and ensures the horn does not touch any part of the forks when on full lock

I agree with Aweight. The Nautilus horn is very effective and the Hornig wiring kit makes fitting straightforward.

I'm actually impressed by the horn on my 06 RT. Much better than anything on the Jap or Italian bikes I've owned. Did they change this when they took away the excellent servo brakes (just kidding!) for the 07 model?

Your 06 has a great horn. I was at the introduction of the 1200RT back in the day, and was impressed by the "car" horn. As the years went on BMW cheaped out and went to a meep meep horn.
