iPhone 5 Nav v and Scala headset

I have a Nav v, iPhone 5 and Scala setup. How do I make calls? The satnav says the phone is connected but the phone icon on screen remains greyed out. I had little problem with the Zumo 550, so what am I doing wrong?

On your phone
Go to settings
Then Bluetooth
Hit the nav v icon should force a connection
Mine does not connect automatically on occasion

The satnav is showing that it is connected to the phone, but that's as far as it goes.

Let us know what phone shows when connected to nav
Should be under Bluetooth, if their isn't a nav v icon you will have to pair again

I think I may have it sussed. First, phone hooked up to satnav, second, headset channel one hooked up to bike, third second channel on headset hooked up to satnav. At least I think that's how I did it. I was then able to make and receive calls with radio on and phone overriding radio when necessary.
