ITS WAKE UP TIME.

So after a lay up of nearly 3 months I couldn't take it any longer.  Both tyres were down 5 psi but everything else looked as it had when I covered it up in November.
I'm pleases to report it started instantly and every button or switch I touched for the next 2 hours worked. Now I hear it's going to rain for the rest of Easter, great.

WHAT - you take 3 months off riding, just because of the cold and wet???

I'll be Taxing my RT on 1st April, it will have been stood for 6 Months.

Been out on my Yamaha XJ650 today for the first time since October 2015.
Had a cracking day, covered 220 miles.

The forecast for Easter Sunday looks good atm.

I reckon you blokes should be made to take a refresher - no matter how many BMWs you've sold or how long you wore a pointy hat!

Three months off - outrageous!!

I'll be firing it up before the 11th of April 2016, whilst the battery is still under it's 2 year warranty.

My 2006 RT has been in the garage since I brought it back in November, summer riding only for me too. But finally rode it for the first time today as it went in for service. Will stick another 150 miles on tomorrow to discover her full potential. Weather looks good, so can't wait.
