Top box strip

Post by Pete1200 »

Has anyone stripped a 49l none electric top box down for spraying the grey panel?
Sorry if this is an old topic but I haven't been able to find an answer.

Yes and it's fairly easy to do, I can't remember exactly and give you step by step guide but after removing the screws from the lid inside you can unclip the outer shell and give it to your local body shop  ;)

Here's a picture of mine off while running the cables for my own brake light  ;)

Thanks for that info. I've removed the screws holding the back rest cushion on but quite how to proceed from there I'm not sure. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
