BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

I'm disassembling my topcase to get it to the paintshop to match the colour of my bike (ebony). Under the backrest, I found a connector (See picture 1). Has anyone a clue what it is used for? It is not the connector for the additional braking light (picture 2). Greetings, Sam

Remember this case with various different back rests is used on the 1600s.  On my Excludive part of the rest was heated.  I have also seen references to speakers in the GTL rest.  So it's probable just the same loom.
