I use these although make sure you get the BMW25\26 (BMW K1600GT) as these are the correct ones for the RT LC  ;)

Kathy's journey design
$135 US for a pair, you may find them cheaper on Amazon or one of the Internet dealers
I had them for 3 years on my 1600 and have now had them for the last year on my RT
Quality bag, half the price of factory bags

I'm not sure if there is much difference, but they sell the same cases for the water cooled RT's and the pre water cooled and the cases are different to look at, the K1600 has the same cases as the RT LC  ;)

Re pannier bags look at Mane Event they do an excellent range and are a lot cheaper. When you reach your destination you simply take out the bags an carry them into your accommodation very neat smart and easy.

I have a set of Cee-Bailey's  which fit my (2010) RT nicely, and are well made.
Best regards, Sleuth

I just use a couple of rucksacks which I bought for £5 each at a bike show.
