fuel strip faulty

I'm having the fuel strip replaced Thursday, which I'm told will have 2 yrs warranty on it,so do I take it BMW will keep replacing them if they keep failing within the 2 yrs ??

it seems to be that if you are out of full warranty, and all but the LCs are, you pay for the first failure but not after that. Having said that the replacement strips seem to be much more reliable than earlier ones.

They will replace it under warranty but that's only 2 years from the first replacement that you pay for. You don't get 2 years on any replacements that what I was told when my mine failed before I had even used a tank of fuel.
