2016 Rt - Givi V56 Maxia 4 Top Box Installed

I installed the Givi Maxia 4Top Box on my 2016 R1200RT LC a few weeks ago.
I am liking it, has lots of room & IMHO it doesn't look bigger on the bike than the OEM 49Ltr Top Box.
I also installed the Admore LED light in the reflectors, that function as tail. Brake, signal lights (not bright enough but better than nothing.)

I had the wife on the back last weekend & found that it was a good back rest for her & also gives lots of room for ALL her stuff  :)) .

To be fair, it's no more ugly than the BMW OEM one!

I have come across vibration and some stability problems with them on GSs at high speed.  Different rack but basically the same chassis.

Looks good, and a hulluva lot cheaper than the OEM top box.

Givi do a dedicated mounting plate for the LC RT. It's metal rather than the cheaper plastic ones so when the box is off the bike it's not all that noticeable. Expensive, but looks nice. Search Givi SRA5113.

Yes, the box doesn't look out of place on the back of the RT, but the back rest pad is high up and at a sharp angle for a pillion, isn't it? Or is it just the angle the photo's taken at?🤔

Many thanks for the info, just spoken to the local BMW dealer and they are asking £1125 for the top box painted in white with a brake light,( nearly passed out)

It looks a different pad than the one that came with my Givi box?

I have the same top box on my 2014 LC RT and it's fine at over 200 km/h. Good space and well sealed.
As noted already, when it's off, the aluminium mount plate just belnds in and doesn't draw attention to itself.

I have this one on my RT (https://www.givi.co.uk/cases/Monokey/TRK52N%20TREKKER). It's not exactly an ideal fit for the RT but as I already had it (bought for my GS) it didn't make a lot of sense to pay to swap it. The look doesn't bother me but I'm sure it will put a few people off.

To me this looks so much better than a ANY BMW case and with the AdMore run/turn/brake lights in it is very nice.  Oh and color matched from Shad that is just too close to worry about.

No, think my BMW colour coded top box looks better - sorry. I only use it though when going on trips with my other half. Normally run without it.
