Weather protection kit fitting

For some reason I have lost the Reply or Quote button for the latest posts on the kit.
Yes I did fit it, with difficulty before I took it all off again and lost most of the bits in the shed. There are screw holes on each centre stand main bracket that you bolt the bottom of the front foot protection plates to.  On mine these weren't drilled right through which gave me some grief.  Ended up shortening the bolts.  It's a lot easier taking it all,off again.

I had the same issue in that these two screws were very tight. In fact one was so tight that I ended up stripping the splines off the screw head. I ended up drilling the screw out but this made what was left of the thread too loose. So I used the longer screw from the right hand side to replace it and put a lock nut on that. Sorted.
May the road ever be your friend, from leaving home till journey's end.
