When using Muc-Off, I always only clean one area at a time, e.g. a wheel.

Ensure that the area to be cleaned is first wet, spray on Muc-Off, agitate, then rinse off & move on to another area.

I don't wet the bike, spray Muc-Off all over it, walk away & come back 10 minutes later expecting the bike to be clean.

I thought that was the whole point of Muc-Off...

FWIW I used Muc-Off for years on the old GT without issues.  Used it on the wheels, swingarm etc.  As already mentioned, I didn't leave it on for too long and then gave it a right good rinse.

Me too.  I still use it on my RT and haven't got a hint of corrosion anywhere after two years...

I just like the debate!

Lots of talk about quickly getting it off and lots of washing afterwards.  That's because it's a corrosive.

One man's corrosive is another man's de-greaser...

Many many years ago I had bikes with a Victorian drive chain system.  Then you needed degreasers.  On a shaft drive bike, why would you need anything more than a good car shampoo and an occasional wax polish. Now in my 20th year of BMW ownership.  Never had any corrosion issues at all.
