Casabar, I heard yesterday that our new bikes will be FJRs. I'm an RT fan but the new water-cooled RT-Ps (we've got 5 plus 3 air/oil cooled) have been really unreliable. Major electrical problems with the emergency equipment with most bikes off the road for 4 weeks at a time with BMW trying to resolve. A great pity :-((

Shame, we'll be saying good bye to these over the next two years. Shame BMW have been slow to sort major electrical problems and develop a Home Office type approved RT blood bike Image

Well we will see how the FJR perform, first impression is, its a nice ride. But I still prefer my own RT, so can't see me swapping my own bike yet. We just had a quote for new pads and discs on one of our air cooled RT, £660 with our discount, wow, that is a lot of dosh  8)
