Needs a pointer here if you please.

When i put the seat in the high position it locates OK but after a few miles it seems to move  so that the wings if you like that go under the tank (forward) flick up and rub on the tank.  It doesn't move but it doesn't look right,  Also when i remove it then it feels wedged in as opposed to located.

Is this normal?

If you mean the adjustable bar with the rubber bungs on the end,IT  should be held in place with big thick rubber bands.  Look at Real,OEM. That are called tension straps.

Or take the photo with seat off and the bar where you put it before it moves.  Are you sure the location cups on the seat aren't damaged

If nothing is missing or broken & the seat is fitted correctly, it shouldn't move in either the high or low positions.

I have checked and rechecked and can't see how it could move.  it locates perfectly, the seat pan is not cracked or broken and when i try to lift the wings of the seat they won't move.  And yet when i ride it and get home.  I will take a photo when i next get back to show
