I have ridden bikes for 40 years and always had nap apart from the odd early 70s brit.
I took hold of a used 3008 RT with 22K on the clock.
Crown wheel bearing has gone in that time and recall for Rear wheel bearing , Fuel pump lines under tank.
Its a great bike to ride and i love it but gotta be honest and say in all of the previous bikes i,ve never had any issues (including a 70S Bonny).
I bought used to see if i like it and i do but would i go for a new W/c....not sure as having ridden one it,s more like a 4 cal than a twin in feel so some of the soul seems to have gone. Whilst waiting for the servicing bits to be done i spoke to other customers and to a man they had all had an issue of one description or another.
strange as i drive a new 520 and its faultless...so far, Just my opinion

The LC has lost its soal ! Many would argue with that I suspect. Then again its gained power, superb handling, Dynamic ESA, three engine modes DRL, central locking and not forgetting the amazing weather protection kit and s bit of water round the cylinders.

Just my opinion, and the family generally tell me i know zip about zip. The wc version is nice and handles brilliantly and power is good, but it revs like a 4. I know mine is a twin (not least as i can see 2 cylinders)

Didn't have a opinion on keyless, shift assist or hill hold

Keyless works great
Shift assist is fantastic above second gear
Hill hold, my driveway has a slope so always a hassle reaching garage door opener, no more

Oddly, I don't have keyless but I do have hill start and the quick-shifter.
Had keyless on a Multistrada. Quite liked it but don't really miss it.
Hill-start is genuinely useful on a bike this big/heavy.
The quick-shifter is a hoot to use.
Neither are "must-haves" for me but both add value from my perspective. I also have the full audio system, which I also like, though I'm not sure I'd bother if I were buying a new bike. Mine was one of the warranty return ones, bought when 6 months old with only 635 miles on it, at a colossal discount, so I took the best spec on offer.
I got lucky though, mine's the ultra-fast, ultra-cool Callisto Grey. If you buy a new one, you'll have to settle for a less fast, less cool colour. Maybe even blue if you're really unlucky!

Nothing odd about you not having keyless. Didn't come out on the RT until 2015. I understand they only added it to make up for the mass disappoint of thousands who couldn't buy a Callisto grey any more.

If you mean the red Iconic, there are only 200 of them , insurance is a challenge and you will never be able to enjoy it's looks. The tears in your eyes will make it blurred for years having parted with £20K+ to buy it.

I think the LE model is listed at £15,900 how much extra for the keyless and central locking ? Does thenLE version have an Alarm as standard or is that extra ?

Different seat and red paint Plus the top box and audio, think it works out at 2k extra for the paint and seat if you added the extras to a LE. Iconic doesn't come with keyless
