Oil Top Up

R1200RT. 2010 TC. Half way down inspection glass. What quantity do I need to add? Off to Spain tomorrow.

None, or some, but you are the one with the sight glass in front of you???

You will find your handbook tells you how much oil is shown in the sight glass.

The Rider's Manual says that the oil quantity for topping up is a max. of 0.5 l, between the MIN and MAX (bottom and top) of the sight glass.
Halfway down the sight glass would take approx. 250 ml.
I like to see the oil at the top of the sight glass when the engine is cold.
