Helibar risers

Post by Richmac »

Hello there,

Has anyone tried  the Helibar Risers.  Not cheap at £330 odd. Any comments or views. Just feel I could do with a little more sit up!

I am currently looking into the Ilium works risers for my bike.

A lot cheaper than the Helibar ones.

I actually prefer the look of those to the Illium ones. I like the fact they can not be rotated, so fixed in the correct position. But both dp the job I guess.

Every bike I have had I have had to fit some kind of bar risers too. When I go to look at new bikes and sit on them the bars always seem too far away, and my arms are locked straight. I've no idea why this is as I have longer than average arms.

The 3 main accessories I always fit to my bikes are bar risers, tall screen and heated grips.

I am so tempted to say ... "You need to stop doing what you're doing or you'll go blind as well."  :))

A cheaper option may be to try something like grip puppies first.

Other threads I have read on the subject seem to suggest not.
