Is anyone aware of a difference between the 2015 and 2016 gloves?

Was about to purchase a pair when it caught my attention that the advert stated that they were 2015 gloves

It would seem only the design of the reflective strips.  They are both waterproof gortex.  I own a 2024 set.  Use them all year round.

Don't worry - that's really good value in 2014 money...

Seeing as its nearly winter, I bought a pair of the pro winter gloves. Seem really good, but quite thick. They supplement my Gerbing heated gloves when riding bikes where I can't plug the heated gloves in  8)

They were a bit too thick for the FJR I was riding earlier in the month, couldn't feel the indicators as the button doesn't stick out as much as the RT ones do.

Sounds like a good price, just brought a pair for £69 at a dealer and they would have changed £5 to post but I was passing:-) Seems like a good "intermediate" glove to me, regards, Peter

The BMW pro summer gloves are now £110 RRP from a BMW dealer, managed to get a 25% discount, they cost £82.50.

Not sure what year the gloves changed, but yes, there is a difference.

Having owned the first pair for many years, although the outer is perfectly serviceable, when hands are wet or sweaty, the lining pulls out, resulting in blocked finger openings, making it difficult to put the gloves back on.

Looks like within the manufacture of the replacement gloves, this problem has been addressed and is the main reason for purchasing a new pair.

"The lining is connected to the membrane and it in turn to the leather. No pulling out of the lining by wet or sweaty hands, no twisted or slipped membrane that blocks the finger openings."
