Is it a Garmin Express or map update.

Nothing shows if you just open it with nothing connected.  probably update itself if you plug in your nav to do an update.

I did a map update from Garmin express last week but could not tell you how old it was.

Garmin express can be updated without anything plugged into the computer

Found a map update from 2017.10 to 2017.20, have started installing on both Computer and Device.

Looks like it's both a Garmin Express & map update.

Found it but shows I already had 4.2.0.0.  It offered 4.3.0.0 which has failed twice so I've given up..

Since posting about this the update has been updated

I'm now on 4.3.0.0

How long does the Garmin Express update take?

Currently still downloading files for the map update, now up to 4 hours 20 minutes.
