Gas Soldering Iron

Post by Sullivj »

Having seen a friend using one, I got one for myself.  Nicely made, and almost instant heat up time.  Saves messing about with cables and waiting for the electric one to heat up.

Looks good.
No matter where I'm going, getting there on two wheels is always best.

Got one. Excellent bit of kit.
And as you say, it beats mucking around with cables etc.

If you go this way be sure to keep an extra bottle of butane handy.  Sometimes the device leaks, and when you need it, it's empty.  I suggest using only top quality butane.  The cheaper stuff is not filtered as well and gunk can stop up the internal valves.
