I had my brain appraised and they ain't worth that much, so I hacket with an HJC modular and a Sena20.

But if you can afford it and it fits right, the Shubert is supposed to be the best.

Na, not the quietest or the lightest but nearly the most expensive.

For the past eighteen months I ran with a Schuberth C3. Having now switched to a Shoei Neotec I can definitely say that I will not be going back to a Schuberth. They may be quiet, just so long as you are happy to live with the poor ventilation.

Hope it gets a better rating than the C3s 3 out of 5?

I've been riding the last year with a Schuberth C3Pro on my noggin, and I can say that it's a good lid overall. Snug yet comfortable fit, good sun visor and main pin lock visor. Quiet? I don't think it's any quieter than my previous lid, a Shoei Neotec. Just my two penneth....

It seems to that with helmets its either ventilation or quiet; you cant have both

It sort like women: you either live with them or dont, but its nearly impossible to do both

Sharp is only a UK test, nobody else in Europe or the US bothers with it. Although its worth having a look and helps with decision making, its not the gold standard of tests.

As for my Schuberth C3 Pro, it is quieter than my Neotec. But I had a job with fitting speakers, helmet doesn't have as much space between the shell and your head, so had to do some adjustment to stop my ears getting sore. The Neotec has a lot more space and overall is probably more comfortable off the peg

I have had a Neotec in the past but after an hour it would give me a headache as it was a bit tight on the top for me. I have C3 Pro now and it has been fine. At the end of the day depending on the shape of your head you might get a better quieter helmet with C3 Pro whilst others get a better result with a Neotec or some of the other highly recomended flip ups.
