Anyone tried out the 'Realrider' app thingy that came with some new BMWs? Got my bike last July and still not registered mine! Apparently it knows when you crash and call the emergency services if you don't move for a while. Great if you are within signal range!

I have been using the Real Rider app for a while. I also got a free 12 month subscription from BMW as part of my welcome pack for the new bike so they are clearly pushing it as well. Thankfully I have not had an opportunity to test it out but for £30 a year it seemed like a no-brainer. The only downside is that it does eat battery charge on my iPhone as it is constantly using the GPS, so it is important to kill the app when you arrive at your destination.
