Ladies and Gents.

Today is the first official day of my early retirement.

From now on there is an open road with an endless time limit. :music:

Congratulations, welcome to the ReTired club.

It's just like a holiday which never ends & you don't have to ask your boss for time off.

Yeh.  I did that in 1991.  Lost track of how many times I've un-retired since then.  Now semi-retired.
Best of luck.

Retirement is the best job I've ever had & I only had one other for 35 years.

What I discovered was it gave me the opportunity to do what I wasn't allowed to do when I left school.
I got myself a job in a bike shop in Salisbury but parents said no.  So 43 years later I did anyway.

I was very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time when the Iron & Steel Industry on Teesside closed temporarily in 2010.

At age 51, took voluntary redundancy & managed to access my pension before HMRC changed the rules on 6th April 2010 to having to be 55 years old.

In March 2017, will have been retired 7 years.

Good move. I've been a member for 8 years now. There are good and bad bits.
The good bits are that you have 6 x Saturdays and 1 x Sunday every week.
The down side is that you never get a day off :)
Enjoy your riding.

My last day is January 31.  Just got my Russell Day Long yesterday.  Going to get a top box this weekend with my $100 off card.
