Looks like I,m the odd one out here as I really enjoyed my job especially the last 15 years or so and I,m not a big fan of retirement. Been trying hard to get the hang of it for about 8 years now. Really miss the cut and thrust of work life, doing a good job, being appreciated for it and of course "The Craic".
Looking forward to Spring and some nice warm weather, planning this years bike trips etc.

Only another 37,530 working hours to go, and I can join your retired chaps full time!

9  months after taking early retirement-a case of take pension then or frozen for 8 more years, so a no brainer.  I still feel like I am on holiday and going back to work soon and still wake up at the crack of dawn. Unlearning 42 years of full time work is hard but ReTiring any good weather day is great! :)

You can get out of that.  Spend it all at your BMW dealer before you pop off.

I've seen some bikes with the text, "Riding the Kids Inheritance" on the number plate.
