Has anybody tried to free off a stuck exhaust flap rather than just replace the exhaust?

I keep wondering when the rear rack topic will die of natural causes, had no idea it was connected to the exhaust system :alas: !

I did, got it to free, but you need to undo the control cables to get it to move so you can free it. If it is stuck open, and you can't get the exhaust replaced under warranty just leave it open
This is way more interesting than the rear rack discussion :alas:
