Faulty fuel gage

Post by Bowietwin »

I have a 2008 and today, while riding, the  fuel gage stopped working. The miles to empty went down to zero in 10 mile increments. Any ideas?

I'm afraid your fuel sensor, big long bit of plastic inside the tank, has died.  Although I have heard talk of people fixing it, I don't think that's an option.  Replacement cost is about £100.
