Cracking day out, covering nearly 270 miles.

Using the trip recorder mileage of 268.6, returned 54.6 mpg (physical check, tank "full to full").

Using the sat. nav. mileage of 271.7, returned 55.2 mpg.

BC = 56.5 mpg.

Using the sat. nav. "Trip Log", managed to come up with this route which Chris led us from Castleton to Grindleford Station.

If Chris has got some more routes like this one above, IMO, it would certainly be worth another visit with an overnight stop at Matlock.

You can count on it with barely a 50 mph limit in sight. Can't say the same about the cow$h1t however.

Just been and filled up with fuel, in the interest of science an all that,  '54.27 mpg actual'. BC= 56.5 I could have possibly got more if I'd removed the collection of out of date Tesco sandwiches from the top box?  ;)
