Interesting, we both got 56.5 mpg on the BC & 54.6 mpg or 54.27 mpg actual, looks like taking the flap out reduces your fuel consumption.

I use Tesco's finest, 99 octane Momentum, (don't forget the points too),  how about you, surely you use BP as recommended by BMW.

Been out today for a spirited ride, did 125 miles, BC = 51.3 mpg, actual 50.3 mpg.

Looks like the LC has worse fuel consumption, hasn't been posted yet.

Oh dear, that's not good, don't forget, the LC is also heavier than the TC too.

Not intending to pass the buck but I really don't mind as I won't have to travel/overnight. No major foreign trips planned this year (unfortunately) so I can be fairly flexible.
It would be nice if we could run a 'meet' a month during the good months with extra 'meets' where possible if there were to be enough interest but personally I'm always 'up for it'.
On the calendar so far is 3/4 June and 8 July (appears there's no accommodation left for this one so I'll have to miss out. Originally was going to be away but plans have changed,) so I'm open to helpful suggestions.

So far this year (2017),  we've had a meet in April (3 bikes) & May (4 bikes).

With something planned for June 3rd and the possibility of another trip in June, plus Tewkesbury in July, perhaps we are pushing ahead too quickly.

Providing there is sufficient interest, I'm up for a monthly meet, therefore, now looking at August, September & October.

It's all about having enough interested people who like the idea of a bit of a 'social' and a decent ride out in a manageable little group. Interesting rides and convenient locations would seem to be the key along with enough people willing to take it on.
Case in point, Wetherby (the next meet) seems fairly central for quite a few of us with access to several very interesting areas. Could this be a future 'Basecamp'.

rather than Tewksbury where, for me, the 'social' is just as important as the ride, but thanks for the suggestion.

Let's see how the 3rd June meet goes and how much interest it generates.

The meeting points for the April & May meets were decided based on those who showed an interest and the distance for each to travel to get there.

Likewise, Wetherby was chosen for June, based on those who have expressed an interest in attending.
