My Z8 tires wore just like the picture except at 3500 miles. Been running Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT since and very happy.

Michelin has a new model coming out "Road 5." Seems they've dropped "Pilot" from the name. Supposed to be available now, but it'll probably take some time for the supply to build up. See: http://www.motorcycle.com/features/mich ... -2018.html

The Road 5 is supposed to be available in the UK now or early Jan, but the GT version won't be available until March/April. GT version is presumably the tyre for the RT

These are my Bridgestones after 9,200 plus, tread depth even across both are 1.6mm so due for a change. No perfomance drop off or noticeable squaring off, keep the tyre pressures to recommended and only notice the drop into the corner when the pressure goes down.
