I own a 2012 Suzuki 650 DL (i.e. V-Strom).  Great all-around bike, but not even close to the RT when it comes to weather protection.  It is a nice "hot weather" bike, and great for those trips on unimproved roads.

Hi all
I own two RT's
One is a 2006 oil head and the other is a 2016 Iconic LC
I also own a GP200 Lambretta Scooter (no jokes please)

The 2006 R T has soon got to go as storage is a major problem 😩😭

I own a Vespa GTS300 in addition to my RT, nothing beats a scooter for for zipping around town.

Getting on a bit, so I've reduced my bikes by consolidating the HD Dyna & R1100R into a new to me RT. That just leaves the retirement '74 Bonneville to strip and reassemble.

At the time I was looking for one of the original 1200's (A mate had one back in the day and I always enjoyed riding it) but could not find one in decent condition. In the process of my search I was an ad for the 1250 Bandit - it was pre-reg and £1,500 off list price. So I got a new one for £6K-ish. Bargain doesn't even begin to describe it. It is 'budget' in some ways but the engine is incredible and I absolutely love the fact that it feels a little old-school to ride - kinda like a GS1000 from back in the day.
