Looks like an 09:00 start would get me to the Ponderosa Café for around 13:00, 3 hours riding plus a couple of P&T stops, one at Hartshead Moor & the other at Chester services.

The Ponderosa Café is 40 mins away from Chester services, leaving there at midday would be ideal.

I would very much like to have made it,  however I am not able to.

I am very interested in the tour.  If you are agreeable (& able) would you be willing to send me the tour as a Garmin file?  Obviously please remove any personal data - address etc before sending.

Thanks & best regards
Sleuth

This event is now only two weeks away, is there any further interest from anyone.

I'm very undecided about attending, it's a long haul for me on my own.

Count me in,

If you like David I will meet you at Chester Service's or if you want to miss your P&T stop at Hartshead Moor we could meet at Birch services and I'll keep you company on the ride down.

Thanks Michael, that's a very kind offer, Birch services west bound on the M60 would be ideal.

Obviously, as I'm sure it's the same for all of us, it's weather dependant.

no problem,

we can go over the finer details closer to the time if you like as it's circa 1 hour to Chester services or 1.5 hrs to the Ponderosa from Birch

Agreed yes, BaseCamp suggests it's 1 hr 17 min from Birch services to the Ponderosa café.

Chester services is a good halfway point (42 min),  it'll depend on my bladder.

The latest date for free cancellation for the hotel in Bangor on the first day is Friday 16th June. Let's hope it's an easy decision.

Departing from Birch services (west bound on the M60) at 11:15, should get us to the Ponderosa Café to meet up with the other guys between 12:45 - 13:15.

Morning

Are the hotels booked under a group name or is it a case of just booking in individually

Cheers
